About Us
Grandpa Eugene Valentine was born on Valentine's Day, and passed the middle name down to his sons, who passed it on as well. Our company is named for him and for our dearly departed brother, John Valentine, who we named our "Those Who Wander" candle for.

Our company was launched in 2022 by Maria Sitzmann, after debilitating neuropathy in her hands forced her to leave office work behind. Candlemaking provides a creative outlet and a way to share feelings and ideas through scent, a powerful trigger for memories and the emotions that go with them.
Our Suppliers
When you buy our products you support our planet with recycled materials, renewable wax, clean phthalate-free scents. You also support American Soy Farmers and Texan Glassblowing Artisans.
Safe Ingredients
Roxy licked a few (unlit) candles and the humans were the only ones who had an adverse reaction. Soy wax isn't toxic but it also isn't digestible, so we do not recommend these as snacks.
However, wherever fire is concerned, please exercise fire safety, fully detailed on each candle page!
